Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how KEZNI (“KEZNI”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you visit kezni.com or use the KEZNI services, including Teze, Canon and Koto (together, the “Services”).
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account information — your email address and display name. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google.
- Content you submit — manuscripts, text, prompts, images, reference photos, audio and other files you upload or create in the Services, and the results generated for you (“Content”).
- Messages — what you send us when you contact support.
Information created when you use the Services
- Usage and billing records — the jobs you run (for example, the type of task, the AI model used, time, size and credits charged), your credit balance and purchase history.
- Technical data — IP address, browser and device type, language, and log data needed to run and secure the Services.
Information from payment partners
Payments are processed by our reseller and merchant of record, Paddle. Paddle collects your payment details directly. We do not receive or store your full card number. We receive the information needed to manage your purchase, such as your email address, country, the product bought, amounts and transaction identifiers.
2. How we use it
- To provide the Services: to run the tasks you request, deliver results, and keep your account, credits and projects working.
- To process payments, issue credits and handle refunds.
- To keep the Services secure, prevent fraud and abuse, and fix problems.
- To respond to you and send service messages, such as sign-in emails, receipts and important notices.
- To understand how the Services are used in aggregate and improve them.
- To meet legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your Content to train AI models. We do not send marketing email unless you choose to receive it.
3. AI processing of your Content
Many features work by sending your Content to third-party AI model providers. When you run a task, the Content needed for that task is sent to the provider that powers the model you chose, either directly or through an AI API gateway, and the result is returned to you.
- Providers process your Content to generate the result and under their own terms and privacy policies. Some providers keep request data for a limited time for security and abuse monitoring.
- Where a provider or gateway lets us turn off the logging of requests and responses, or the use of API data for training, we do so.
- Result files hosted by providers are usually available only for a short time (often about a day) and are then delivered to your browser or saved where you choose.
- We cannot control or guarantee deletion by providers beyond what they offer. Please avoid including sensitive personal information (for example, health data or identification numbers) in your Content unless it is necessary for your work.
- A provider may refuse a request under its own content policies. Refused tasks are not charged.
If you upload photos or other material showing real people, you must have their permission to do so.
4. Who we share it with
We share personal information only as needed to run the Services, with the following kinds of providers acting on our behalf or as independent providers:
| Provider | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Supabase | Account sign-in and database (accounts, credits, records) |
| Netlify | Website and app hosting |
| Cloudflare | Domain, network security, content delivery and file storage |
| Google (Google Workspace, Google Sign-In) | Email and optional sign-in with Google |
| Paddle | Payments, tax and invoicing (merchant of record) |
| AI API gateway and AI model providers, such as EvoLink, Google, OpenAI, ByteDance (BytePlus), xAI, Kuaishou (Kling) and MiniMax | Generating text, images, audio and video for the tasks you run |
The list of AI providers changes as models are added or removed. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a merger or sale of the business, in which case this policy will continue to apply.
5. International transfers
KEZNI is operated from the Republic of Korea. Our providers process data in other countries, including the United States, member states of the European Union, Japan, Singapore and other countries where they operate. When we transfer personal information abroad, we rely on our providers’ contractual and security commitments and the safeguards required by applicable law.
6. How long we keep it
- Account information — while your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise it, except what we must keep by law.
- Transaction and billing records — for the periods required by tax and consumer-protection laws (for example, Korean e-commerce law requires certain records to be kept for up to five years).
- Your projects — projects you save in the app are stored in your browser on your device, and in files you download. When cloud storage is available, projects you save there are kept until you delete them or close your account.
- Security logs — for a limited period, generally no longer than one year unless needed to investigate abuse.
7. Cookies and local storage
We use cookies and your browser’s local storage only for things the Services need: keeping you signed in, remembering your settings and language, and saving your work on your device. We do not use advertising cookies. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy and ask for consent where required.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or download your personal information, to restrict or object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To make a request, email team@kezni.com from the address on your account. We will respond within the time required by law. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.
9. Children
The Services are not intended for children under 14, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Security
We protect personal information with measures such as encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and two-factor authentication on our administrative accounts. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Services change. We will post the new version here with a new date and, for significant changes, notify you in the Services or by email before they take effect.
